ACCOUNTS

I am a Chartered Accountant, and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), having qualified with KPMG over 30 years ago.

I spent the first 14 years or so of my career working in a commercial setting, with a few breaks spent travelling and working overseas.

In 2003, I gave up work to raise a family and ended up spending my spare time volunteering as Treasurer for the village Pre-school and my sons’ PTA as well as later on working part-time in a local family business.

In 2015 I was given the opportunity to go back into practice and have recently set up my own accountancy firm. I work part-time from home as a sole practitioner in addition to being employed part-time at a local independent accountancy practice.

I am bound by ICAEW’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct in Relation to Taxation and I act in accordance with these ethical guidelines. You can find me on the ICAEW website here.
